Peter Kay's Car Share - Peter Kay and Sian Gibson star as assistant manager John Redmond and promotions rep Kayleigh Kitson in this comedy series. Working together at an out-of-town supermarket, they are given a company car, but it comes with one condition: They have to share rides together. Without a choice in the matter, the pair are forced to get to know each other during their daily commute. Will they get along from one day to the next? The Reece Shearsmith section is legendary, particularly the shots of Sian weeping with laughter. They could conceivably have used some of this footage, but Peter spends too much time with his eyes shut while laughing and it wouldn't have looked believable that he was supposed to have been driving. I assume they used the old TV trick of filming some of the sequences with the car on a flat-bed truck so the actors could concentrate solely on the script? 12:17 - "I can't fuckin' cope!"
