From 2015 to 2019 I was the Operations Manager for the Burj Khalifa and have stood at that very point many times. Also arranged for Tom Cruise to do his iconic picture. The tip had to be built inside the BK as there was no crane tall enough to erect it. So it was assembled internally and hoisted into place. There are a permanent team of window cleaners and lighting Electricians who go over the top every day.

The stuff from Eric Paré is really all in camera. He sets up hundreds of cameras around the model and also works with lightpainting techniques to create those images/video. He developed a software that controls all the cameras so they are triggered in split seconds one after the other to create that bullet time effect.
