Yep it ads real feel to the clip, but it takes a long time, I use storyblocks, and sometimes you need to make you own sounds, fiddle with them, speed change them and then place them right in sequence with the clip, like you do with music. Peter Lindgren did a epic sound design on a drummer clip he did, check it out, unbelievable work.

SONG LENGTH TIP! If you have Adobe CC, you should take your audio and load it into Audition. Once you're in there open your track in Multi-track mode and right click on the song. In that drop down menu there is a button that says "Enable Remix". Click that. On the left side of your screen you'll see there is a duration option. Drag that to fit your video length and it will MAGICALLY edit the song to fit that new duration. Thanks Pete, for the constant inspiration to grow in video creation!

Choosing the music first - I've been finding that is definitely the key. Multiple times, I've gone through editing a video and not feeling inspired and not knowing where it's going or what it's doing but then I find the right music and it's as if someone has numbered all the pieces of the puzzle for me. Sound effects are certainly a spice I need to be adding. As always, your videos rock my inspiration, thanks a ton dude!

I stand by my words in saying Peter has been the most influential filmmaker to me on KZbin.
