Peter Murphy had this great heavy baritone of a wise angst ridden older gentleman even as a youth. That’s why it hasn’t aged. We from that era can close our eyes and be transported back to our own youth. This song and its lyrics fill me with such melancholy like so many PM songs. 😢

Today while driving and listening to Sirius radio, I heard this and almost went off the road. I had loved this song so much back in the day, but time had passed, and with commercial radio being as sad as it is, I hadn't heard this in perhaps 20+ years. What a beautiful song by a talented artist. I always loved this song. Thanks so much for posting.
