Episode from the brand new episode of brand new season.
After Brian posts a racist tweet on Twitter, the tweet goes viral and the Griffin family becomes social pariahs, prompting the family to move Brian out of the house. peter is kicked by he's friends
lois is excluded by local supermarket, while at school chris and meg are being bullied and end up fighting the whole school
After Brian renews his interest in his Twitter account to join a protest, he starts tweeting on a regular basis. His tweets gather little attention until he makes a racially insensitive remark about a film before seeing Baywatch. While in the theater, his tweet goes viral and he exits to find an angry mob awaiting him who chase him home. Despite his attempt to delete the tweet, Brian as well as the family are treated as pariahs. Brian's attempt to apologize also falls flat and Lois tells him that he needs to move out. Shocked, Brian packs up, finds a run-down apartment and settles in.

the 70's was a very dark time in movies, they usually ended with the hero getting murdered etc. It all changed in 1977 when Star Wars hit the theatres. After that hollywood became a place for huge movies with serious special effects.

I would say that mid to late 60s-70s movies had more somber or poetic constructions (if you will allow the phrase). The hero of these films would not always succeed by default. Instead, there was more focus on lessons learned or grander social commentary. Classics like Bullit, Mean Streets, Dog Day Afternoon, Chinatown, One Flew Over the Cuckoos' Nest, Taxi Driver, and even Saturday Night Fever come to mind as films where either the hero dies, doesn't get the girl/happy life, or must exit without accomplishing his primary goal because the reality is that it isn't always possible for one being to make a difference. Not to get long-winded but the context of the 1960s-1970s had a lot to do with counter-culture and greater awareness of the world. Additionaly, these films served as deconstructions of the "typical" films that existed before them. I only mention this because in my opinion, the 1970s film era may have been the most poignant film era and I wish there was more appreciation for films that aren't just about the "feel good moments". Maybe they would make more if people watched.
