Hey Peter. I’m watching this from Mississippi. I thought I am fit to be there. That’s the kind of life I want and like. Yes, avocado is more important than tv. I had avocado this morning for breakfast and I can have avocado for years. I can live with it without rice. I am originally from the Philippines and I kind of grew the way Dano and Robin are living now. I grew with all what they have in their land now. Coconut trees, bananas, coffee trees, corn, avocado, mangoes, bananas, jackfruit, soursop, all kinds of tropical fruits and vegetables. We raised livestocks too! Please please! I want to be there I can take my husband with me if not I’ll go myself and find a Hawaiian husband there. I’m serious! I can’t live here anymore I been a victim of racial profiling and this has been going on for 3 years now. It’s eating me alive and I can’t go on like this anymore.

I left the city and suburbs of beautiful sunny Florida to move to a mountain and grow my own food with Zero TV in 2007. At that time, there was no internet worth trying to use. I've never regretted it. Since I came the world has fallen apart. Living this way, you see any of that. I go back to visit family and can't wait to get the hell out of there. Honestly, It's become overcrowded and everyday more agriculture land is becoming suburbs. Plus, you can't grow the wide variety of food that you can in NE AL. I know I'm not crazy for living this rural life because other people who see where and how I live want to move here too. Lol

This is the true heart of a homesteader. A heart of teaching, sharing, inviting, and love.

Yeah, dude seems cool but you can tell that his generation's mindset really did get to him. She is also of that same generation and seems to kind of "know her place" type thing. I mean, that DOES go back to the patriarchal teachings of the monotheistic God of the Jews... for good reason though: God expects man to provide for his wife, take care of her, sacrifice for her & take the bullet for her ultimately so it's only fitting that she is a bit submissive. Not really so bad. Eh. I'd encourage everyone to actually look into the history of what these ancient manuscripts have been saying for thousands of years and after this, what they have been saying about prophecy & how today looks exactly what the prophets predicted (really open eye trance via the most high: Yhwh). How Jesus is literally the ONLY one out of alllll the belief systems who is still alive and has hundreds of witnesses & their names listed, proof they were actual people who lived in the Jerusalem area a couple thousand years ago. Gene Kim, Amir Tsarfati & Robert Breaker all have really great channels that deep dive into the TRUTH & nothing but the TRUTH. 🥰❤️✝️🩸All about the blood atonement of Jesus the Christ.

Using plant harvest remnants, like banana peels & stems, by placing them near the stem of banana trees provides essential nutrients such as sodium, which banana trees are rich in. 3. : I learned about the Bahá'í religion. 4. The majority of protein in my diet comes from rabbits and deer. I still buy beef burger and I still buy veggies. My favorite thing to do is garden. To me it's all about the soil. Soil is literally the basis of life and health. I believe God gave us all the plants and he is pleased when we build sustainable soils. The lessons learned are priceless. I grew up without a leash I was in the woods as much as I could as a kid and I continued as an adult. I've recently encouraged my fiance to garden with me. She is a life long urban dweller. We are polar opposites in May ways. Just seeing her begonia blooms got her hooked. It's spiritual on a whole other level. When your garden does well the feeling cannot be described. It is certainly a religious experience. I too agree much with their religion.

I enjoyed so many things about this episode. Most of all how Peter is gifted at allowing people to share themselves comfortably and how Dano and Robin can live alone on an island for decades and still be so in love. She laughing at his stories and he calling her a beautiful blonde. and of course Natalia's incredible editing skills! God bless you all. Thank you for this soul nourishing content.

My family is Māori from Aoteroa, not Hawaiian, but as a fellow Polynesian, it brings my heart so much joy to see any family, of any culture, taking care of the land and showing how to live close to the land. We call these guardians kaitiaki. Thank you Peter for bringing their story to the outer world. Inspiring!!

Nowadays we have apple phones and electric cars, that need to be worked on by appropriate professionals.

That’s beautiful! My family and I live on a big ranch in Texas and when I leave the small town we live by it’s a relief to get home. Our garden, cows, deer, rabbits, pigs, birds, and the water that flows through the woods give us peace. Going to town and especially a big city like San Antonio gives me stress like a lot of stress. I relate to that style of living. I love being a part of nature daily.

Then we moved to the beach in Pan Handle of Florida , small town. Don’t care for big cities myself. I could go spend 6 months easily on this farm working and sipping tea on Malakai ❤

Thank you Peter for recognizing what wonderful content Dano and robin could provide. Their life is what dreams are made of. At 80, I wish I hadn't wasted my life in urban America. Now my husband andI live in the country and love that aspect of it but are too old to enjoy taking care of many animals and gardening. Modern corporate food has taken it's toll on our lives. I like this man's wording regarding the structure that used to be a bedroom. It appears a large rock or Boulder. Rolled down the hill, affecting the bedroom structure in some way. Referring to the structure, he said. Well, it used to be a bedroom, but a large, rock kind of CHANGED it. He did not say, destroy or ruin.He said CHANGED! This guy is totally in tune and in harmony with the land. He is careful with his words and does not view a " natural event as necessarily " bad or negative " . I could listening to and watch this couple 24/7 . Makes my heart sing!

Here's the thing. Humanity loves technology, yet humanity loves and longs for this kind of life. If we could all just get back to real-life living along with using technology to have a balance between the two instead of letting one or the other take over, that would truly be a life worth living. Our existence today is just so incredibly out of touch its actually terrifying.

If I, a lowly human, could conjure blessings, I would send a bushel to this beautiful, strong, brave couple. My sister says, bloom where you are planted, and this takes great courage as well. Thank you for sharing this video. I gives me hope. I love the idea of bringing a young couple into the Permaculture forest to teach and pass knowledge forward. In the interim, as you wait, remember the Woofers. If they could commit to three month periods, you would have both help and the opportunity to teach. Its truly is remarkable what happens to my spirit as I work in my own garden. The world falls away as my hands work the soil, plodding through decisions, and at the end of the day: satisfaction. 💕

I have such deep admiration for this heaven sent couple. Nothing gives myself, my husband & out 5 children more peace than the freedom of being one with the land, planting, foraging, eating what “we” produce & giving back to Mother Nature as she graciously gives to us in abundance. I’m in love with this circle of life, nothing ever really ends or dies, it may look different when it returns but it’s still a gift one must cherish. I do pray that my husband and I are able to visit and soak up as much knowledge as possible for our homestead. If it’s in the cards for us to stay there, it would be a great pleasure.
