My friend Kelly and I were lamenting the bland and uninspired sameness of today's car. While horribly inefficient, the hand made uniqueness and indulgence of personal preference in auto production seems forever lost. Thank goodness we have these treasures to remind us of the art and ingenuity that once dominated the industry. *sigh*

Yes BMW took over RR and the start of some new cars and a new SUV. But still not only are they the best, but price wise,, too expensive for most of us. Thats life.

Certainly the new ones aren't cheap, not should they be; but there are plenty of very affordable used Rolls-Royces (and Bentleys.) If you really want one and you have a job it's completely do-able. A Silver Cloud; perhaps a Cornice; Silver Shadows are especially affordable, and you'll be in highly esteemed company (Elton John used to own one!). Good Luck !!! 😃
