I have a slightly bend Bulldog Donegal Rocky with the same type of rustication or sand blast. Very nice of Rose to think of you.

Edwards was a French Pipe Maker. They were able to buy up tons of Algerian briar; so much of the market share in fact, that Dunhill had to buy their Algerian briar from Edwards because they couldn't get their hands on any. I have an Edwards Bulldog that i bought at the 2022 Chicagoland Pipe show, and it is a dandy pipe. Carolina Rose gifted you a beauty. Serene smokes, Gary

I'll send you some snaps of my Edward's Bulldog, I think it's quite handsome. In the 1960's Algeria tore away from France and gained its independence. The state of Algeria prohibited the sale or transport of its briar stock. By that time Edwards had a considerable stockpile of Algerian briar at hand. I believe they made pipes under the Edwards name until the 1980's.

@@oldandintheway1955 Thank you Gary 😊. I remember remember France and Algeria fought a nasty war with each other during the late 50s and early 60s. I was hoping the Edwards name was still around. I learn a lot from you. Thank you again Gary 😊

@edwardhobbs5741 yes sir! I've got my radar on two different pipes loved to have a meerschaum and a falcon. I love the old fashioned style pipes! 👍

@edwardhobbs5741 I'm trying to figure out between a straight stem or bent, or a colored stem so many options.lol I dunno would you have any recommendations?

@@MichaelSmith-990I kinda like them all,I got the International stem straight. I'm trying to get the International bent,that one looks like a traditional bent stem.
