Very, very nice. I love the trunk lid with the original 67 tail lights. You do fantastic work, the kind that deserves a premium.

I thought this was a Shelby Clone? Why the original Mustang style tailights?
@eddievantailn2882
@eddievantailn2882 16 күн бұрын
@@skymstr1 You are correct the tail lights are not correct for a Shelby, I have a 68 and rear end is the same as what being installed. As you noted this is a Shelby clone so I guess the owner can order what ever he wants. Last note - I prefer the GT rear end than the Shelby.

Just make sure you always tape a new gasket on the decklid before you do any welding on the qtrs. I do the same thing on the the doors also.

Mr. Ben First I want to thank you for picking mustangs as your line of expertise, as I enjoy every video you put out, great work I'm doing a restomod on my 70' Mach 1, thanks to your videos. Does anyone offer the extra height for the rear foil, like the 67-68 Shelby's, as I am a NASCAR fan, and don't care for a rear wing. Also, I've ask before & didn't get answer, I would like info on the PC's you make that run from grill to radiator and the one covers radiator under the hood for a 70' model. Thanks again, great work!!!

I really enjoy your vidoes, its early days for me so have lots of your videos to catchup on but I'll get there eventually. Its been said many time before I know, you make it look so easy "but defo not!", I wanted to ask you a quick question I need to replace the entire floor of a 67 fastback, also the entire trunk area, rear panels and outer quarter panels each side, basically everything aside from the inner top 1/4 panels everthing completley cut off right up to the door posts, what the best way to start with fit everything leaving the rusty floor till last or take all off including the floor, I'm concerned if i end up with only the front half of a car only it maybe harder to align everthing back as i have I nothng for reference, meaning at least keep the old floor till last that way having the width of the vehicle not twist and move around as much or is that a good thing. the last thing I want is a car thats not aligned properly

When checking final fitment of quarters, do you also check glass opening using the trim to ensure it fits, gaps are correct?

Another excellent video and explanation of what you're doing. Though I wouldn't dismiss this one demanding a six figure price (but who knows it might)...Something in the mid to upper five figure wouldn't be unreasonable to a collector; especially if this is a 'turn key' show quality ride. Might I suggest black Crager's with chrome centers & stainless beauty rings....?????? Pretty please????...and while I'm dreaming....a white leather interior & black carpet would be killer......just sayin.

I enjoy your videos, thanks for sharing. I have some questions... How much of original car is actually used ? Why are you not just using original serial number with all new sheet metal ? Seems expensive to buy a old rusty body and remove most of sheet metal and not using 90%. I understand the cost numbers must work out in the end, be nice to know more. Thank you Cheers

Gr8 work I'd like to turn my 67 coupe to a fartback. I'm in oz so very expensive and the look I get from panel shops is 😳 monieeee. I've worked in heavy fabrication most of my life, over 40 years, I'd like your opinion on doing this. My mustang is a T code 3 speed manual bad paint but solid.

They do look great, there’s no doubt about that. I guess the main question is are you in a position to spend another 💰20k on the car and keep it and enjoy it, or will spending that money then force you to sell it, cos then you’ll have no Mustang? 🤔
