I watch your videos sometimes, just because they are so nice with a bit about the horse, some cat, a sleeping dog. You offer a beautiful quiet everyday experience from life in the country.

Such a beautiful big guy. There was certainly not much depth there to work with from the looks of it. I guess, he would have been very sore if you had taken out more. Nice neat trim with a chamfer there. Don't worry about the vlog thingy.... Although we would probably love to watch more of your videos, I think no one want's to cut into your spare time in the evenings after such long days of work.

Another enjoyable and informative video. You have found an appealing balance of the familiar with a gentle explanation of the process. Nice and relaxing. As to the vlog. Show us the start of your day...do you bring a packed lunch? I swear we’re that nosey! 😂Do you pop into a local shop.. Do you prep your knives and other tools the evening before? How do you do that? Where do you shop for supplies? Bring us along. And a bit of scenery as you drive between jobs? Obviously you need to protect your privacy and that of your clients but I’m sure you can show us a bit more without revealing too much. ... And Dermot looks like a gentle soul. ❤

Dermot is looking very chilled and I am sure, appreciates what you do for him. (Loved the appearance of Bertie the Basset Hound). Hope the new van is going alright. That was a long day. I am not sure about vlogging. Don't put yourself under any more pressure, especially if all your days are as long as this one. It would mean more content to edit and you have a young family as well. Have a think about it.

Lovely job on a super-looking horse. I've long wondered about the removal of the periople, Peter. I know it's important to control chips and flares, but if the periople is left intact, wouldn't it provide some protection of the wall? Just an idea.

I have so many questions. Who gets shoes and who doesn’t! And why? Here in North Carolina we have wild horses on the shore, do they just wear them down naturally? Thx!
@Peterthefarrier
@Peterthefarrier Жыл бұрын
It depends on the horses work load. If they are working so much and they wearing their hoofs down to the point of being sore you need to intervene with shoes. They may also need them for remedial purposes 😊
