I love the Jimmy Stewart mention & Ketteringham Hall ghost tale... There is something to be said even now, you just catch yourself at those old WW2 USAF aerodromes (Snetterton, Tibenham, Old Buckenham, Hethel etc.) & they still have the ability to send a shiver down your spine, they can be VERY eerie & spooky places, so much past history & activity to them & at Hethel in some of the converted WW2 buildings used for Lotus Cars production, a few workers had some real frights with an airman ghost...!

Hi Peter Windsor, My name is Cameron Greenwood Cramp AKA CGC. I'm an Aussie. I'm almost 28 years old. I was born on February 6 1997. I live in Melbourne in Australia AKA the land down under. I am the biggest fan of IMSA and the WEC in the land down under too. I've been into IMSA for 21 years now. And I love it. My favourite races in IMSA are the Daytona 24 Hours, the 12 Hours Of Sebring and of course the Watkins Glen 6 Hour held at The Glen. My favourite World Endurance Championship or WEC for short is every single one from 2012 to present day. Watkins Glen AKA The Glen in Upstate New York, where they make steamed hams, is the best race track in the United States of America. Also, Francios Cevert is the greatest French person of all time, apart from Rene Arnoux, Alain Prost, and Albert The 5th Musketeer AKA Albert De Parmagnan. And also, 1989 is the best Le Mans ever, along with 1965, 1966, 1967, 1969, 1970, 1981, 1994 and 1995. The Le Mans 24 Hours is my favourite race of the year and my favourite sporting event of the year too. Le Mans is my favourite race track in the world along with The Glen AKA Watkins Glen and Bathurst. Jim Clark and Ayrton Senna are two of my favourite drivers of all time. They are two of the greatest drivers who ever lived. Colin McRae and Walter Rohrl & Henri Toivonen are three of my favourite rally drivers of all time. They're tree of the greatest rally drivers who ever lived. Burt Munro along with Freddie Spencer are two of my favourite motorcycle riders of all time. They are two of the greatest motorcycle racers who ever lived. The Ford GT40 and the Ford Mustang are two of my favourite Ford's of all time. Two of the best Ford's ever made. Another thing that active suspension would be back is beautiful suspension articulation. It would be so nice to see modern F1 car staying flat while the suspension articulates over a curb like in the 60s and early 70s

"... large amounts of downforce have not improved motor racing ...". How true. It is hard to think of anything good that has come out of it. But equally, it is almost impossible to uninvent something - once the idea is out there, it is.

It was not incompetent from FIA but politics. They did not want british or americans to win but did their darnest to get either French or Italian champions.

The current experiment with Ground Effect has been a failure. Cars are inconsistent and difficult to set up. "Bouncing" makes the cars bad for the drivers. The whole idea of Motorsports is man and machine working in harmony. GE is a dead end.

This implementation has definitely failed. Even the improvement in following distance and reduction of dirty air has disappeared, teams have just worked out ways of sending air sideways even with the current rules. But I notice that Indycar went with ground effects like a decade ago, and I haven't heard any of the same complaints there, although I don't follow the sport much any more. I just think ground effects could be great but this version of the rules has failed. It needs active suspension at least to fix the bouncing crap.
