It's good to hear what Heikki is doing and that he is doing fine. There are great racing outside the big five motorsport racing series F1, indycar, WCR, WEC, MotoGP, and great guys race continue to race outside of those. Legends in their own rights.

I remember meeting Heikki when he did F3 with Fortec back in 2002 and I was pretty much starting out fresh out of Silverstone school Formula Ford. I was only 16 at the time and invited there by David Hales. I was a bit in awe to be there at a proper race team. Heikki was always so kind and friendly and got to know me and my dad who chaperoned me. He would always come and said hi to us as I progressed through the ranks in various series whever in the world we ended up. A brilliant driver too.

Heikki really was the last great Lotus Formula 1 driver...It was complicated, but it was Norfolk-based, so he's a Lotus man for certain...! 👍🙏👌
