its about society's ignorance towards mental illness and emotional issues. they could be saying wake up to many different things, like waking up to the evils inside us or telling the people to wake up and stop ignoring. also, the album's name is rose so lol. just know that this is some deep stuff

2 Educated Guyz This is right after one of the members, Yongguk the one with the deep ass voice, went through a panic attack and had to get help because he suffered from anxiety disorder. It is a really deep song, the other two songs from the album were written by him when he was in recovery.

the whole mv is basically about being woke. being in tune with your emotions, understanding the way society bends our perceptions, learning to connect and unite with other people that are struggling. bap as a whole has had a lot of songs that talk about social problems and multiple members have come forward about struggles they've been through (yongguk had to take a hiatus due to depression and a panic disorder, daehyun had turned to alcohol due to depression during a period in their career when they had a messy lawsuit with their label, himchan has had an eating disorder, etc), so you can really tell this song came directly from their hearts. yongguk and zelo (the two rappers) actually wrote the lyrics!

BAP makes beautiful music while taking time to address serious issues. You should check out their video Badman, which was filmed in Detroit (you will see why in the MV, if you understand how cities like Detroit have become broken down and ignored). It is crazy how a boy group from South Korea is trying to bring attention to socio-economic issues we are facing in the US, while we have people like The Kardashians on our airwaves.

THIS! ^ B.A.P has become its own genre, it's simply beyond Kpop. I really hope more people will appreciate them.

Its about how society treats mental illness, this song came about because the leader of the group (guy with deep voice) Bang Yongguk was diagnosed with a panic disorder and another member, Himchan, most likely has anorexia because of his "fans" constantly telling him that he is too fat. I really enjoy BAP because the majority of their songs talks about real world issues and these guys donate most of their money (and they don't make a lot because their company is basically corporate greed) to various charities. As for Kpop songs here are some: these two are definitely songs to check out if you are just getting into Kpop: MYNAME (5 member boy group): Baby I'm Sorry K.Will: Please Don't (K.Will is a solo artist who doesn't appear in his videos) Vocalists: XIA: Flower (Soloist but he is also apart of a trio) Park Hyo Shin: Wildflower (the music video is interesting but unlike typical Kpop videos it isn't flashy, it focuses on his voice mostly) Ailee: I Will Always Love You (Home was good but this cover really highlights her vocal talent) Bands: FTIsland: Pray and Take Me Now (Two songs that are amazing) Day6: I Wait Wonder Girls: I Feel You Boy Groups: Big bang: Haru Haru (Older song but crucial to listen to if you want to be a fan of theirs) 24K: Still 24K and Bingo (watch Still 24K first) SHINee: Picasso (live), Lucifer (live) and Treasure (Japanese song) Girl groups: 4Minute: Crazy (Sadly they disbanded but their songs were always great) Dreamcatcher: Chase Me and Good Night (they recently debuted and so far they are really good) Coed: KARD: Oh Na Na and Don't Recall (They also recently debuted but again, amazing) Sorry for throwing a lot at you but you can always pick and choose. :)

it's about the effect that society has on us, and how different people deal with it differently. Waking up from that nightmare that lives inside ourselves

I jumped when you said my name, LOL. Forgot I requested it. Hope you get to watch/listen to "Skydive" also. :) Okay, so the song is about "waking up" and becoming more in tune with yourself and your surroundings. The song was written by the two rappers of the group, Bang Yongguk and Zelo. Someone already said it, but many fans believe the video is about mental illness, especially since the leader (Bang Yongguk - my bias) recently came back from a hiatus where he took a break from promotions, back in October, to start getting help for depression and panic disorder. Personally, I think that along with mental illness, the video is also about how apathetic and complacent members of society are becoming. Not only are people who are suffering being ignored, but even the people that try to spark a change are. For example, the guy holding the sign and demonstrating isn't just getting ignored, people aren't even acknowledging that he's there. Someone in another video also made a good point that the people didn't start paying attention until the television turned on, showing the impact that media has in making a change.

The part with "emotion revolution", personally I think is about: an individual trying to get people's attention on a issue('emotion revolution is just an example). However, the way current society works, is that pretty much no one will pay attention to these issues around them, people ignores it, until the media reports about it. That is why nobody responded or reaction, when the person holding the board is screaming or even destroying stuffs. When B.A.P members appeared on TV, they were holding torches, lighting up the dark, which symbolises hope. This brings everyone's attention together, (and they'd rather believe what the TV shows than their own ability to start a revolution.) they now pay attention and start revolution.

You guys brought up the saying to "wake up and smell the roses" as in face what you're going through aka your emotions in the video. To over come that. I am not that into B.A.P. but I know that one member went through a rough time mentally and I think physically so I interpret as it is meant to shed light to similar problems (beauty issues, pills(?), thoughts of ending it etc). Not saying it is what they want to portray, but what I personally got from it.

in this video, there's a lady who's pressed to be pretty (the one with makeup all over the floor) a guy with anxiety (the one who looked scared, before drowning himself in the tub) a girl with anorexia who vomited everything she ate, although it's only water. a guy with schizophrenia (who imagined killing people after arguing over the phone) but there's other theory about him being a Muslim man, stereotyped to be a mad terrorist. and a lady with eating disorder (the one who almost ate a bug; she lost appetite) "Emotion Revolution" is a motion to spread awareness on critical role emotions; the guy with the sign wants to tell people around him about his emotion revolution, notice how he distinctly screamed "Help!" to the passerby but was ignored. at the end, his emotions turned into rage and caused violence; as a result to ignorance. B.A.P appeared on TV at the end while people were walking by; that reflected how media controlled society. and lastly the rose symbolized help/hope/awakening to the society.
