Conjuror is pretty handy for teen sims, since you can clean up your own summoned messes for progress towards the Civic Responsibility scout badge, and then take out the trash for progress towards Good Deeds. Some of the other evil ghost powers are handy for putting sims in a bad mood so you can build empathy value, too.

The generator from Eco Lifestyle gets both increased productivity and the Eco Filter if you use the power to upgrade it using your ghostly powers. Normally the game lets you pick one or the other.

That’s a fun little latin reference that the evil and good are aligned with left and right respectively on the powers screen and the sims’ arms. Left is considered inauspicious, unlucky, and nowadays malicious and “sinister” is the root word for “left”. While Right is lucky, auspicious, and generally good with its latin root word being “dexter”. There are some other cultures that also regard left and right as evil/unclean and good/clean, but I’m not as familiar with those and this comment is already getting lengthy.

Because, you know, it's a ghost hugging you, lol. Haunting shriek is definitely my favorite. The Sims definitely got "dream disruptor" from the TV shows GHOSTS (the American version). Sasappis is my fave character and that's his ghost power to disrupt dreams!

The "fire toilet" isn't an issue if you have a beetle farm. it even says this in the upgrade description.

"Small scared Moodlet"? I'm not sure I'd call +3 "small". That's pretty potent. Few Moodlets go higher than that, and anything over +4 is both rare and intense.

Can a live sim perform ghost powers? It can gain them from an out of body experience, but can it use these abilities while alive afterwards?

From my experience they can’t. They don’t lose their progress though so if they have another out of body experience later they pick up where they left off. Or whenever they eventually die for good they still have any progress gained during out of body experiences.

Interestingly enough, it would acutally be easier to kill with the positive ghost powers, as hysteria can be triggered by stacking happy buffs under playful moodlets.

Yes. It's also even possible to change the occult status of ghosts.

Yeah, Ghostly Traverse lets you save vampire points by combining the effects of both Bat Form and Vampiric Entrance. Though occult teleport abilities are still useful, because you can set them to always move that way, while Ghostly Traverse is manual.

But there is also the grim descendant trait as well from what I've seen. Maybe though science baby or reincarnation will give the loophole. Outside using mods to cheat and add the trait.

Still working on proper testing myself, but you should be able to pass Grim Descendent indefinitely. Father Winter's Baby and Grimborn are only for the one sim.
