I love gadgets and I wanted this for my cat but my cat's healthy issues prevent me from getting all this cool stuff I want for her. Just another added expense on top of her other expenses. I love how you have all the neat cool gadgets for your cat. And YES, filter water is the best for the cats. I was doing that also.

Thanks...I also use filtered water for Pipher...I think I will still change and clean this daily..Just to keep it fresh..

That is awesome of you! I find that if I wipe down the mesh then there isn’t as much to clean. I started cleaning it once every two to three weeks.

It’s completely quiet!!!! It’s heaven sent honestly! I always let it get low and have the light indicator turn on to let me know when I need to refill. No noisy reminders that happens every day! I only have to refill the water once to twice a week now. Whereas the catit One was constantly in order to keep it quiet 🤫

how often do you have to deep clean (disassemble the whole thing) and how often do you wash/rinse the tray?

I wash it once to twice a month. I take a paper towel and wipe the grid on top to remove any fur so it doesn’t go into the filter. I wipe it about once to twice a week depending how much fur collected.

Yes we are! We are about to try a new one soon. We still love this one but I found that you have to clean the grate with a brush or it will collect mildew.

The company recommends once every three months I believe. I do it once every one to two months. Depending how dirty it gets. I usually wipe the mesh to help prevent dust and fur get into the filter and I feel like to prolong it by a little.

your video would have been much more helpful if you would have read the instruction manual at least briefly before starting filming. Then when you came across parts or even packing material you couldn't identify, you would have been able to advise or instruct instead of saying you don't know what a particular item is for. It would also make for a shorter video that just concentrates on meaningful subject matter.

Slap him for playing, really? Way to discourage him from going near the fountain. But, in spite of you he started drinking from it because he must have been very thirsty. Do your cats have to make their bed every morning when they get up, brush their teeth after every meal, and say their prayers before going to sleep?? Life is short, let them play, in fact, ENCOURAGE them to play!!

Did the cat really look fazed to you? You see a few seconds of a video and assume she never lets the cat play 😂 Practice what you preach, 'life is short', so maybe instead of spending your time leaving nasty comments on youtube, you could go and do something meaningful with your life.

Waste of my time having to watching the instructions being read out!! This video was FAR too long-winded and I would not want one of my products "reviewed" or "explained" in this way. It would have been better if the instructions had been read thoroughly first, so the assembly video fliw would be immediate, but thorough, explaining as the process went on. You need to Soak the filter for 15 minutes, before use. I stopped watching this video half-way through - and commented. Sorry.

😅 I know it was long. I was just starting out. I started cutting those parts out. I do everything on camera so I can record my initial thoughts and reactions to the product, set, etc.
