I've seen this live more times than I can count. Every time "Papa Tony" would come to town he would place this for us. We would all sit around and just be in awe. It gives me chills to hear this and to see it. Thank you to whoever uploaded this. It brings back so many memories. RIP Papa Tony.

artistry, passion, and a fabulous arrangement. Somehow the Liberace appellation may in someways denigrate what Lovello accomplishes here. But I do appreciate the opportunity to be able to enjoy it in a pure acoustic ambiance. Thank you for posting these priceless examples.

This has got to be a great story untold. When I saw the photographs of his famous hook shot I was in high school and developed the shot with left and right hands. I drifted away from basketball and found a girlfriend, but I could have been fabulous. Why he insisted on the accordion is beyond me: he was far more original and interesting and innovative in basketball compare to playing these old typical tunes on the accordion. He could have at least found some new music to grind out. Malaguena? C'mon.
