You can pick stone at state parks in Michigan . Just not National lake shores like pictured rocks

It sure is a pretty beach. Like it when it is quite like that :) The dunes are awesome. It was nice to see you found a good one along them big rocks.

My favorite spot is within 5 miles inland of Petoskey harbor in the gravel veins and anywhere that was just dug up for construction

What are your favorite spots in the area?

I enjoy the more secluded spots. It can be fun walking through shallow areas in some parts of the Bear River in Petsokey to find them.
