What I did was watch the video 3 times and stopped on every step.

I believe you can install it and it will dump the litter into the waste bin instead of saving it in the grate container.

@@julietannerino446 yes. Had to watch the video several times lol, You just leave it out until it’s time to dump all of the litter. Then when you put it in, it covers the slots in the back. So when the box turns all the litter gets dumped out instead of filtering thru the slots. Hope that makes sense.

I've had it a few months and I've had a few issues. It moves while my cat is on the ledge of it and a couple times it has dumped the litter by itself.

I have the same issue too and the machine would go on self cleaning for no apparent reason and empty the whole thing. It’s annoying!

So, does this model not clean itself automatically? It looks like one still needs to push a button. So if someone is away from home for a day, cats will not have an automatically cleaned litter box until their human comes home and pushes a button? I wasn’t sure from this video.

Just hold down the button that looks like a broom to toggle between manual and auto for 5 seconds.

I really liked this box until I realized the litter screen doesn't come off. How am I supposed to thoroughly deep clean it? That's a weird feature to not have. Has anyone ever removed it?

Dear, we can't disassemble the internal parts of this one, but the sand bin can be disassembled and cleaned, I will post a cleaning video on my homepage later, you can watch it!

@@julietannerino446 Honey, the clear plate is for cleaning up dirty litter boxes

That peice is for when you want to change the litter. You put the plastic piece over the litter guard like how it came in the box and push the empty button. Instead of sifting the litter it will dump all the litter in the waste drawer. Depending how much waste is in the drawer you may want to put a new liner in before you push the button so it doesnt give you an error light for a sensor being blocked having to much waste or litter dropping in to the drawer.​@@julietannerino446

@@julietannerino446I don’t own one of these, (but I want one really bad😂), so I may be completely wrong. I think you take the clear piece out while your cats use the box and it does its own thing, and only put the clear piece over the grate when you want to completely dump the dirty litter and put fresh litter in. Someone, please correct me if I have it wrong.

I did have to get these little steps to lead up to it because it is kind of high for my one cat Freddy because he has a back leg that doesn't work correctly. Hope that helps anybody else out there! It was a great deal for the money too by the way! Mine was $160.
