We can argue the greatest keepers forever just like any other position. But one night in 2012 Petr took goalkeeping to a whole new level. People remember the Drogba header but forget Cech made some unreal saves... saved a penalty in ET and saved in the shootout. Give the man a statue.

I was at the reading game when he was injured, what a lot of people don't realise is that Carlo, whom was sub for that game also had to come off injured!!!! For the last 8 minutes John Terry played in goal!!!! Ah memories....

He's not just smart but very intelligent, he speaks over 9 languages one of the guy that always helps the new players to settle in because of his diverse understanding of various languages. After him it was Azpi with that knowledge.

I know people always say that Didier won us the first champions league but go back and watch that match against Bayern Petr was the man that landed us that trophy He went the correct way for all the penalties and he saved one during the game just to put that in perspective

This man doesn’t get enough credit for the 2012 CL win. Without him, Chelsea doesn’t win. Overall, of course Cech is one of the greatest GKs PL has seen. Having said that, pre helmet Cech was a God.

When i listen to this legends talk i certainly conclude that our club is really gone , we are now mid table and the players don't fight for the badge anymore . Obi..I've watched all your podcast, all these episode are about player perspective on the game and practice (except for Jose). Please make us podcast from coach side,how they train you,how they encourage you to work hard on training,how they arrange schedule for training,how they get the best of you. I think it would be a facinating topic and it can give us a better understanding how club operating from back staff view

When i was a young kid i asked my little sister to say that name, as i wanted to hear how she would say it. I was testing her to say Čechs name and how would she say it. She pronounced it as Kesh 😂. Peter Cheque is a legend
