he wasn't underrated. he was the epitome of inconsistency. he would play so amazing today, and you think hey let's start him the next game and the next game he'd be piss poor and even get a red card. he had amazing highlights, but you watch that team week in week out, he could be frustrating to watch

@@nosa2385At the time by the papers he was, all the ratings were low for him, only if it was a clear distinctive performance would he be rated highly, same with Busquets, the casual viewers won’t rate their roles, of course there were people singing his praises but overall he was very under appreciated by the casual viewer, I guess it’s the nature of a defensive position…

Apart from Rodri now, Kante, and Yaya Toure in Africa, which DM won a personal award. Again, that role is highly underrated.
