My sister was a faithful believer, when she got double pneumonia our family prayed with the pastor etc, she still died. What a horrible thing only 28. There was no purpose in that death. No silver lining...just horror. I'm still in shock sometimes and it's been 20 years.

While I was in high school, I fell asleep with this song playing on repeat when I couldn't finish my homework one night. Needless to say, it all worked out. Now here I am again 24 years later, with writer's block - unable to write my self-review for work. No doubt it'll be alright. With God it'll all work together for good. I was having sickness while pregnant that would not go away and was so discouraged. On around day 20 of sickness, my brother shared this song. I wept on the first line and all the way through. One of my brothers a fan of Petra and I grew to this kind of music around at home - I was only 6 years old, now 33. When I was a kid I loved this song. I always asked my mom to play it for me. Eventually I didn't hear it anymore as I got older and listened to my own stuff. But then I found myself in sorrow, praying and crying out to God for the deep things I dealt with. Who knew that one day the song I loved as a kid would have so much meaning to me. Who knew that I'd need to hear exactly what was sung because I finally faced a trial that tested my faith. Tonight I found out stuff that has torn me apart.

I remember seeing them live at 6 Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, NJ shortly after this album had released. I seen them along with DC Talk. I'm not sure if Skillet or Newsboys were there, but I know that Jars of Clay wasn't for I would have remembered them. I think the third band might have been Whiteheart. Those were the days, 8th, 9th and 10th grade. Petra - Greek for rock, just as Simon said to Yeshua you are the Christ the Son of God, the Messiah, and yeshua called him Peter from that day forward. And there is No Doubt that He is our Rock!
