Much though I love this show, has anyone else noticed every episode follows a rigid formula, ie: - someone’s accused of a crime - Tony investigates - Tony finds out person lied to him - bad guy(s) beat Tony up - Tony wins his case

Is Petrocelli a secret millionaire???? He has these cases which he can always spend days trying to find the convicted innocent. Never a payment because they are poor, or they are scouts. And nearly always gets confronted and beaten by the bad guys. He must have to pay rent for the office, his salary, Pete’s salary, wife’s salary, upkeep of the cars, fuel, food, etc Where does he get his money to live???? Otherwise I love the series. Typical 80’s series. They’re the best.
