Hi Jarrod. Jim from Madrid, Spain (a fellow artist and a New Yorker expat living abroad). As usual... Great painting! I just love the way you use watercolor (as well as Gouache) as a medium. It's like watching you paint with Oils!!! (Something that most watercolor and Gouache artists don't do often, or at least its what I see in the majority of vids I watch on YT). I love how you apply thicker (with a lot less water) paint whilst allowing the transparency to still shine through! I learn so much with your vids! Thank you very much for sharing and helping us grow as artists! Cheers from Sunny Spain! 😁👍😎✌

@@jaimejaime1178 thanks Jim! Always a joy to see a note from you. :) I appreciate that. I hope to make it to Madrid one day to paint outdoors. Spain has a rich watercolor community and history.

could you make a video on how you draw with graphite/pencils? i would like to know your approach with drawing and maybe tips to improve in a efficient and fun way~

That's a cool idea for a video. I don't do much drawing with graphite or pencils. It would be a good exercise. I keep the drawing fairly sparse on things and often try to draw with the paint intstead of pencil up front. Thanks for the idea and watching!
