Money from the Cayenne is what helped Porsche build the 918, money from the DBX is what'll keep Aston building more Vantages and Vanquishes, and the Urus jumped Lambo sales by 43% in 2019 and that'll keep giving us more insane supercars to enjoy from them too! 1st and 2nd gen SWB (3 door) Mitsubishi Pajero is one of the most iconic 4x4 ever made... Reliable, good looking, sporty, comfortable, agile, tough and durable! It has a low center of gravity for it's segment and it's perfect dimensions makes it be a kind of a real sports "jeep". Not too big... Not too small. Quite funny to drive and stable at same time, thanks to it's front independent suspension. The Evolution limited series was the closest thing you could have to an exotic 4x4 back in 1997 before Porsche Cayenne, BMW X5, etc came out to market. The success achieved by the Pajero's in the competition in a time where the competition 4x4's were still modified road cars speaks for itself and shows how greatful and performant this car can be. A kind of a "Porsche 911" of the wild tracks! Unfortunatelly now Pajero is gone and Mitsubishi doesn't exist anymore the way it did. Actually there's a real risk of disappearing from the map. A brilliant story full of quick success and glory, but with a very sad end. From heaven to hell in just 3 decades.

Easy to say when you are not running a multinational car company
@aaryeshg.65263 жыл бұрын
They didn't really mess up tbh. It was more of people not actually buying their cars. Subaru for example sold more Impreza WRX STis than Mitsu's Lan Evos. That's just a fact, people never bought enough Evos for Mitsu to fund the production of it. When they make something driver focused, not enough people buy. When they make normie vehicles like the Outlander and Eclipse Cross, people infact buy those. No matter how much you hate it but that's the fact, when sales of a sportscar get slumped you have to make more mediocre cars to make up for the loss.
