I have similar issues with my box! Mine is a little different, I don't get litter in the machine itself. However, once opened I do remove the rake screws and remove the entire rack for soaking/cleaning. I also use a reusable metal pan and pan bags that fit over it for easier cleanup. You cannot screw the rake screws back too tight or the rake will get stuck. They are special screws that have spacers from the head of the screw to the thread, which allows the rake to move swivel back and forth. The rack does push crystals toward the back of the box and that build up is what causes the rake to get stuck also. Great video! I modified mine as well. I just removed the extra plastic strip completely as it doesn't have a great purpose that I could see.... I will steal your duck tape hack as one of the pins on mine broke too. Thank you!

Thank you this was very helpful. Once I took it apart I found out that 1 of the supports on the rake had slipped off one side of the plastic gear guide. It wasn't easy fix after that. However there were 2 small pieces that fell off the side. And I had to look at your video several times to find out where they went. They were little rectangular white pieces that snapped on to the white track on either side. I was able to play your video over several times and stop it to find out where they attached.

very crafty thanks for the video. this machine is extremely clean for used. Your cat must have good aim! Mine are going to blow poo all over the walls! It will still help me

My boy cat only poops on the inside wall of the box. So annoying bc it’ll dry up and then I have to literally scrub his sh*ts off. I’m afraid he will clog the rake on this machine.

Love the tips in this video. How do you clean the rake? I’ve yet to find an easy way to remove it

I don't remove them. I just use baby wipes...lol That seems to remove the "stuff".

There is a magnetic strip that is missing and the rubber piece that you screwed on to the portion of that lifts up when it rakes. It has power, but it does not do anything. Also, is wifi required for this to work?

Ive had this set up for 3 weeks with no interest from the cats. I'm slowly reducing the clay litter from the regular box and increasing more silica litter in it but still no interest whatsoever. For the amount that I paid for my unit with lid they're going to like it whether it kills me or not LOL.

That round white wifi plug looks like the kind someone else posted was driving their dog nuts! Some signal or sound from it. They had to remove all of them from their house!

That seems like a lot of work to maintain, monitor, and clean. And with the possibility of the rake becoming stuck, it is not reliable when you are away from home.

very true....that is why I try to reset it using the wifi plug I can turn on and off remotely.. If that doesn't work I call my sister in law to try to fix it..if she can. lol. I always clean it if I'm going away for a few days/weeks.

Are you using a plastic reusable pan, or the disposable? How long have yoy had this unit?
@MichaelT-md9rg10 ай бұрын
Two years....reusable pan

When you sprayed with furniture polish, did you put it on the mechanism itself or just the rotating rod or both? Would WD40 work too? I have the same issue where it stops a quarter of the way but instead of resetting itself it just stops and gives me a solid red error. It seems I would have to plug and unplug repeatedly until it decides to reset... only to give me a solid red error again once reset...

Sorry I didn't answer sooner. I just spray it on the worm gear. If I used WD-40 I use the dry type.

Could a person just use that litter & scoop it? Cuz this looks like WAY too much adapting/adjusting/fixing! The company should hire you to improve their product!

Yes..if I can not get it to reset remotely (turning the white plug on and off remotely) I have someone come over and clean it like a regular litter box...hopefully the rake is fully retracted.
