Her AMAZING recordings that have soared to the dizzy heights of Top Ten,while two have made Number One are superb. Her acting ability can never be called into question because she is a tremendously EXQUISITE actress who goes beyond the pale of superb drama and next minute laughter filled jollities. The gems here are the two front dancers in the first chorus. Those guys were good.

Kudos to the composer and songwriter for this masterpiece. It takes creative vision to come up with a unique and energetic song like this. There are songs so unique to a particular artist that no other artist dares to do the cover. Georgy Girl for The Seekers is one example and Color My World for Petula Clark is another.

Dropping an anchor here if this song is remixed in Bayonetta 3, it sounds suitable for it
@álvar91513 жыл бұрын
I don't think that will be the case. We don't hear remixes of Scarborough Fair and Love is Blue in the first two games after all.

@@álvar9151 yeah i thought of that case too.

I'd damn near kill someone to go back to 1967. You cannot imagine what that decade was like if you weren't there to see it. Same goes for the 70's - the two greatest decades in human history.

Great! Thanks for giving us another performance by Pet, Please upload My Love and Downtown too. And please give us more CONNIE FRANCIS!

I'm grateful for these uploads, but what took them so long? We've been suffering with 144 P or 240 P bad quality KZbin clips for 15 years. Our families bought a lot of products advertised on these shows back then. Open the video vaults and let us see high quality clips for free! All of them!

This song has touches of pop-lite psychedelia, made cheerful and non-threatening for the mass market - the references to bright colors, and the quasi-sitar sound, and the cutaways to the swirling food dyes in water. Most of the staging, on the other hand, consists entirely of abstractions of "Swinging London" with dancing bobbies and Queen's Guards, along with posing mannequins dressed in miniskirts and hip-hugger flared pants in display windows on Carnaby Street. The whole thing is ultra-'60s.
