Peugeot 206 GTi cup racing - Go budget racing

We visit the MSD Live 2019 show at SIlverstone to showcase just how easy it is to get into Motorsport for very little money and be part of a huge community of dedicated friends who come together to drive their passion.
We got a cool opportunity to drive a Peugeot 206 GTi cup racing car around the silverstone nation circuit to see what there like and how easy it is to get involved in this championship.
The 206 GTi Cup is for the Peugeot 206 GTi model only in 136 bhp engine configuration, manufactured between 1999-2006. It’s a cost-effective way to enjoy motorsport with a standard production specification hot hatch with no drivetrain modifications allowed to ensure this series is in the price bracket for new racers and experienced race hobbyists alike.
The emphasis is on driver ability and not large technical budgets, which is why the regulations are controlled for the series to ensure the cars are equal in performance. This has proved to give some very close results over the last season.
You can convert your own street car to cheaply conform to our series and the Motorsport UK regulations, or if you’d rather have one of our club build teams do the hard work for you there are a number of affordable options available.
With the series constantly growing and more registrations expected shortly, 2020 is promising to see some more wing mirror to wing mirror action, with one of the most liked race clubs in the UK.Check out more here - www.trackattackraceclub.com/s...

There seems to a few great entry level competitions in England. That would be cool as f**k to race in. I'd love to do something like that but the problem in Australia is that the tracks are so far away and it isn't that affordable.

Fordy Ford I can only imagine fella such a shame. The only thing with racing in this country is racing costs a lot but yes thankfully the tracks are plentiful in the UK and close together. You need to come down and visit some with me buddy! You can drive one of my cars around one 👌👍

@@tomdtom5407 an that makes more sense then. I think people use to control the rear steer on the 300zx’s too. Do 206 GTi’s have rear steer?? If they have I never knew that. I know the new Megane RS 300’s do.
