Why not 8k rpm? Can you adjust air /fuel ratio with ecu? Also can you tune so vvt comes in at 4k rpm on standard ecu? Cheers

I am not sure how far I could push through valve train safely so tried to be sensible. I will have a look in to the vvt and yet back to you

@@actuning appreciated, Im sure you can run it safely at 8k limit. I know the rally cams use solid lifters, 9k limit. Also a standalone and standard engine setup 230 bhp I've read a few times. 290 forged with cams itbs solid lifte, high comp Apparently peugeot de tuned the engine because emissions. Did you use a generic map? ,

The Gti has 136hp, Gti rc has 180hp stock 😃
