I have a 307 turbo diesel .I leave near a mountain range in Australia. Ideally enjoy driving that car.so I know how you feel.I had some problem with climate control I've been able to find how to fix it on the internet. I got the $60 parts and followed the instruction. Took me 30 mins. I also have the DPS faulty light showing,.DPF needs cleaning something that I will attempt later on. Keep the video coming

Gday mate I’m so happy for you for fixing your car in the end. I commented on your Part 1 video saying I had a similar problem on my 2007 207GT but ultimately it was the high pressure fuel pump for me. Thank god I didn’t need to replace my turbo. Also seeing that Cebu t-shirt you’re wearing most likely confirms that your partner is Filipina as there was a glimpse of her and her beautiful brown skin. Kamusta kayo diyan.

@VučkoHD First of all thank you for the great videos! I am unfortunately having the same problem with my 207 GT 150THP. It happened today actually. My question is. Do I have to do all this from the video, or just replace the turbo? Or do you recommend to do everything (except the turbo rebuild, instead getting new one). Much appreciated and keep up the good work!

It depends, If you know people that have experience and good reputation for turbo rebuilds I would go with that rather than a new turbo. They new ebay turbo I bought in this video broke after 2 years when I was doing 0-100kmh launches...But if your turbo has cracks on the exhaust part then better to buy a new one

The depollution system faulty was the exact reason why I sold my 207 gti. In my case I would need to change the timing chain. To change the timing chain for 1 500€ was not exactly worth it for me on a 3 000€ car

Probably you could do it by yourself. Only the chain. When i tried to do the timing belt in other car, the water pump didnt want to come out. I had to break it into pieces. But only the timing belt is easier

I would say, waste of money. A service or a replacement of the wastegate actuator would have fix the issue. Also this turbo is not a genuine one ( you can tell by the looks and the price of course) which means that it could fail in a short period of time, especially if you plan to stress it a bit with an ECU tune. P.S : Have a look at your timing chain set, or your tensioner. That whinnying noise when you started the car up show that the timing chain is loose when cold

I forgot to mention the exhaust part of my turbo at one place it has a very small crack, and the compressor shaft in the turbo is a tiny bit loose so thats too many things to replace...

@@VuckoHD it would be a miracle if the hot side of the turbo had not a crack there. Everyone has, it doesnt make a significant difference compared to a not cracked one, maybe a not noticable better turbo spool. The shaft play is normal with this milage. With the same or a bit more money you could have service the turbo and put some bigger wheels to make it hybrid for more power later.

Yes, non healthy sound of this cool engine few seconds after start... First think to do on such a car (I recommend) is to change complete timing set incl. tensioner and also check Vanos solenoid. Nobody knows who and how maintaned and "tuned" it before.

It depends...just because you have check engine depollution system faulty. Doesn't mean your turbo is bad. Buy a bluetooth OBD ELM327 (you can find it anywhere for less than $10) and read the fault codes or go to Peugeot service to read the codes for you and tell you what is the problem. Good luck and don't give up!

Hi I was wondering when you had this problem did white smoke ever come out of your exhaust and I'm talking about a lot of white smoke !?!? I have the peugeot 207 xs 4 door and I have lots of white smoking coming from the exhaust but only if I drive for 30 /40 minutes at a speed of 100km per hour.. Any ideas of what could be wrong

When my car had a depollution fault it was the solenoid on the wastegate. Then the next time it happened it was a bad coil.

My problem was the turbo westegate, but you problem seems to be timing chain, thats what I see when i type THP P2191. During cold start do you hear any additional sounds? Try to rev the car up to 3000rpm and let go, if you hear some rattling then its 100% timing chain & pulleys. Also about no power, do you have a check engine? It may be that you are in safe/limp mode because of the fault codes
