Good job that was crunched in the front Mark at least you could get at it all dismantled I bet that would be a real pain doing that with all the front paraphernalia still attached ! but I’m not a mechanic either so I might be over thinking it lol

Hi Mark the man dealers charge a flat rate of £500 to change the wet belt on the 1.2 pure tec engine

Like you say, that is such a bad idea those wet belt's, why they designed it like that is crazy , cos if they fail on such low mileage cars then it would cost the manufacturer shit loads in re build costs or new engines

Hi Mark,this car is becoming a little minter.That timing belt, really looks worn and deteriorated. A couple thousand more miles,and catastrophic results expected.Caught this one just on time.Saved by the bell lol.
