It's like a carwow review except I'm still conscious by the end. Bonus!

No, this is miles better than a carwow review. More entertaining, informative, straight to the point, and not as long-winded. Plus, Mark talks about the things relevant to the car he drives and review. Mat's reviews are long-winded, and being overly fixated with interior plastics on any car he drives.

I love Mark's reviews. His vivacious character and humour makes me want to watch the vid even if I don't give a damn about the car.

A fine, informative and entertaining review. Makes me want to buy, ahem, lease the car. I wonder if Mark had a transfer fee from John to Van..?? Worth it.

Love these videos. Best car reviewer by a mile. Take issue with your comments about the phev. With the battery depleted it becomes a normal hybrid ie it puts juice back in the battery when you slow down, brake etc . I've had two Prius Phev's , no problem getting 70 mpg at 70 mph in hybrid mode. I looked at getting a 3008 Phev but as it's over £40k you pay the dreaded luxury tax which defeats any savings you will make.

Today I drove my 1.5 diesel turbo from Kettering to Droitwitch and back: sticking to 60mph on the A14 and 70mph on motorway and returned (according to the gauge) 72.3 mpg.

Another great vlog. Lots of trim and power plant choices with this 3008. I think it’s the best looking inside and out of many expensive rivals. 👍

This SUV has soo out-of-this-world design ... and this makes it ... actually ... colectable. 🥳 And ... as I have seen at the new electric SUV from Renault ... the latest creation of monsieur Vidal ... it seems that his most valuable creativity "spunk" 😃 ... was in the "008" line of Peugeot SUVs. 🙂

@Vanarama And as far as i know the big difference is that he 5008 with 2.0 tdi 180hp motor can only ull 1500kg, while the 3008 1700, that's a noticable difference.

Had the pre facelift 1.5 hdi for 3 years and getting a facelift when it finally gets here! 70 mpg is easy to achieve and to the doubters. Take one out, set cruise control to 32 mph and by pressing the end of the right stalk you will see economy of well over 100 mpg, yep really. Now as we can’t go everywhere at indicated 32 mph in reality 29 mph, the best overview is that I get around 600 miles per full tank which is 50 litres. In comparison a 1.2 petrol 2008 so smaller and lighter only gets around 400 miles per same size tank. All this proves is, you go further in the diesel than the petrol and the £5 or so extra to fill the tank equates to an extra 200 miles. So we’ll worth it and, it ain’t slow either if you push on either.

How did Nicola Nichol find the driving position/ seeing the dials?
@allanbriggs807 Жыл бұрын
There is no difficulty seeing the dials. That is a load of nonsense. It's all about how you adjust the steering wheel and seat. If you note , Mark is too close to the steering wheel and should have the steering wheel set a little lower. Quite simple really. I just bought a Peugeot 3008GT a couple of days ago and I had obviously read all the reviews, so when I went to look, the steering wheel issue was on my mind. I am 6ft tall and my wife is 5ft2". The car salesman just happened to be 5ft6" (approx). I scrambled the seat settings and we all had to find a comfortable position where we could see the dials. Now, I am long legged and my wife has very short legs so we at extremes. It took about a minute for each of us to find a good seating position. The salesman knew what I was on about and I asked him what he thought the problem(s) were. He gave a simple answer. "THE DRIVER". The most common problem was the driver positioning him/herself too close to the steering wheel, and that restricted how you could adjust the steering wheel. In theory the only people who might have a problem would be very short people, although my wife had no problem at all.

Biggest problem is the paint work soft paint so make sure you don’t let bird mess stay on the paint or it will burn a hole in the paint work and another problem is the glove box is rubbish as the french can’t be bothered to move the fuse box to the right hand side for the uk market how do I no I bought one a few years ago and after the supplier wouldn’t repair may pant work after bird mess burnt my paint work so I got it fixed at my cost and got rid of the car I would never by a french car again just to Finnish love your reviews mate

One day perhaps Mark and the vanarama team will produce an uninteresting boring car review. Well this isn't that day. Most controversial issue for me is Marks children being allowed to cut his hair with blind folds on :)
