It's a Hearty Thanks for the info on how to open the boot of the. Peugeot 407 when the remote won't work and also unable to open from outside. The info worked wonders for me coz I've been trying to open my boot for the last 2 weeks. I LOVE MY Peugeot 407. Thank u kindly.

The White Wire was cut off on the boot of my Peugeot 407. I simply reconnected it and it worked. Thanks again.

Works a treat, but theres knack to finding exactly where to pry though. 3 of the 4 wires were broken

​Found the culprit while ago in my case it a broken blue wire from bottom but not sure how can get to it does that black tube housing pull away some how or does it have to be cut please ?

I know the oval plastic piece pulls out done that wire snapped there just need to get at wire from top to rejoin or add piece of wire if needed 🕵️

@@brocky78 yer rubber boot gaiter unclips fead new wire through then crimp conectors or twist together and solder then tape up other videos on this to improve craig kidman youtube

Ursula Brett not sure on fill flap check fuse not sure witch one and move carpet in boot same side as flap a swich which moves a pin across to lock it

Think it mite be the the door latch lock on side of door there a pin switch in side that puts interior light on disconnect door wiring on the door it just twist to disconnect if problem goes a way must be lock latch seconds hand one on ebay

When the door is not fully closed, then the warning goes out, and when the door is completely closed, then the warning goes on. Something is messing with it somewhere. I recently took a car so I wouldn't want to disassemble it for no reason. Otherwise, it's going to be a good car

@@dejanstankovic7163 think that there's a switch built into the latch lock old cars had a little switch on door pillow but new cars built in latch iv had this with a vw bora once

@@craigkidman my battery gone in key so can't lock car, manually open the car with key, key now won't go back in all the way to close... No choice but to leave unlocked over night till get new battery in key tomorrow, couldn't say a worse thing bout it.

rasher 62 here one for you mate if battery flat in key remote put new battery in and still don't work you have to program it put key in ignition turn till dash lights up press open button on remote for 10 seconds or remote don't work starts car but no open doors shows in hand book
