@@adventurevanfreddie I am sorry, that is a hazard! You can tell I’m food obsessed! And even though I don’t like sausages/bangers... your grilled sausages even looked good! Ooow, the floors going in, we'll done. I remember the many trips to the DIY shops; just when you think that you have everything you need, something else is required! Fun times and it will be worth it in the end, promise! It's definitely a 'bath tub effect', start the build on a high, sink to a low when the progress visually slows, and then finish on a high as you pull the furniture and finishing touches together. Brilliant, keep going. All the best and take care, Tony and Claire.

Tony & Claire ... great videos :-) hopefully we'll all be starting our adventures soon. Could we wild camp there?
@adventurevanfreddie3 жыл бұрын
Wow Vinny, T2s, Split screens and Beetles is where it all began for me. I spent many hours underneath my dad's campers when I was growing up. Love them still!! We stumbled across an immense vw meet in Belgium at the end of our French trip last year. As for the Thetford Forest location, absolutely. w3ws///fixtures.standing.tomato and w3ws///bumping.hairspray.limelight. The latter being where we went off road, very large dirt track the has loads of park up areas, bumpy though. The first one, we have stayed at a few times, it is close to the military range (closed at weekends and not used much) but is very quiet as it is out of the way. The other can be busier during the daytime, but again, is quite at night. Also, North of Thetford, a smaller forest and car park area can be good w3ws///fuel.commutes.decoding. Hope this helps and happy adventures. All the best, Tony and Claire.

Haha, OK, sorry. If you have a smart phone, jump on to the app store and download what3words. This app pin points to a location within a 3 meter radius. We use this throughout our videos to show where we wild camp. For the Thetford Forest location, head toward the small village of West Tofts (off the A134) and take the junction east (turn right) and follow the road all the way to the end. On the right hand side before you get to the military range you will see a parking place. On Google maps, it looks like a cross roads at West Tofts, however it isn't. Hope this helps, all the best, Tony

Hi there, many thanks for watching, that vud was some time ago lol. I used the same rail for both, the only difference being for the cabin divider curtain track, I used ceiling mount brackets instead of the wall brackets that you see in the video. Hope this helps and many thanks again for watching. Take care, Tony.

I noticed that said you put your awning on the roof rack because you didn't want to put screws into the roof so what are you going todo about the gap thats left once you wind the awning out

Hi Damien. Thanks for leaving the comment. Apart from when the fiamma awnings are bolted directly to the side of a motorhome or through the side of a hightop van, for our height (H2) and lower roofed vans, the roof brackets hold the awning away from the roof and leave a gap between 10-15mm. With ours mounted on the roof rack, we have a 12mm gap, however the awning sits further into the roof as the roof rack is about 50mm narrower than the roof. So if you look up from directly under the awning, there's no gap. For us, we'll use it mainly for the sun and not so much for the rain.......we hope lol. Hope this helps.
