Why do manufacturers make it so bloody difficult to remove the battery from cars now. It should be how it used to be, i.e. a battery clamp on the bottom, and a positive and negative lead. You really shouldn't have to go through all this frigging around.

lol….Im changing mine this week as the battery has died that plastic panel on top sometimes can seize on there and it’s a bloody nightmare to get off… No doubt mine will be seized solid….😢

I see you have disconnected the positive side of battery before removing the earth, isn’t it supposed to be negative then positive on removing battery then positive then negative when putting back on? That’s what I was always taught

All that effort to change out a battery ffs🤬 in the past you could change out a battery in 10 mins........
