The toilet paper i wouldve been fine with, as all i use is 2 sheets, sometimes 4 while simultaneously not touching the poop with my fingers. What pissed me off about this tho, is WHY and HOW they were doing it. They had a fucking system. Gross.

This isn't cheap, this is NEGLECT. Rationing your children's food so sparse and using a 2 liter bottle for a shower head. You can get a new one for $5 at a dollar store. If you aren't willing to make sacrifices to give your children the BEST and most quality life possible you don't deserve them. I haven't even finished the video and I am appalled. These kids DESERVE better.

Coming from a family that had parents who never failed to remind us how unbelievably poor we were, it fucks with you. Even in a better place now I have missed out on so much from hoarding my money and I still ask my husband (he looks at me like I’m crazy every time I ask) if I can buy a coffee with my money and then I feel guilty for it the entire day. Shit like this really screws you up and the fact that they’re well off and still choosing to screw up their children willingly is absolutely disgusting.

About the toilet paper when Felix says that you just go to Starbucks and grab a bunch of paper, I've done this before. A few years ago we were so poor we couldn't afford toilet paper so we would go to the supermarket and grab a bunch of toilet paper 😂 Not ideal but better than nothing.

I like how These "cheapest families" Always have like big ass house's and nice cars. I'm over here living in a old 3 bedroom house with 4 family members with barely enough money to pay for electricity. But at least my mom has the dignity to not rope her children into a disgusting cheap lifestyle just to save a couple bucks. It's fine to be cheap, but Not if it affects someones life in that way. The way there living is just disgusting and bad for there children. You know damn well they have money stored away, but simply dont use it.

This led to her developing a very serious hoarding problem later in life. Her house just progressively became a massive, disorganized clutter of random objects "because I can use them one day."

Carpet places sell "rems", remnants left behind when they cut carpet. Or from when they install it because they always sell you more than you need, and then do you the favor of taking it back to their store and selling it again so that you don't have to deal with cleaning it up/getting rid of it. lets do some math here. the average oven in opperation is going to use about 1 killowatt of power. to make cookies takes about 20 minutes. This means the total power usage to bake cookies is 1/3rd of a killowatt hour, lets round up to half a killowatt hour to account for preheating, etc. the US average price per killowatt hour is about $0.16... she saved 8 cents by not using her oven....

It really is. A few decades ago I worked with a local truck driver who had been a notorious bank robber. He was an excellent worker & was paid extremely well... but he was a big time compulsive dumpster diver & every day he would quiz us on how much we thought he spent on his entire outfit. He had shopping addiction for a long time too, even b4 I was born and I'm in my mid 20s. It's a bad combo. He has the same mindset of "you'll never know when u might need x". My family got bed bugs as well a bit after my dad started buying and hoarding old/ used items, and he can't clean or organize anything and freaks out if anyone touches his stuff. @@AntiTheBird see the thing about floor models is that sometimes if not the majority of the time it’s not put together fully or something is wrong like a cut wire so it can’t be plugged in hence it being a model. i’m not knocking you and i would do it too if i wasn’t worried about something being wrong with it

This is just insane and neglect to their children. This isn’t right. Even being poor as a child we have furniture and basic stuff! Yes some of our furniture wasn’t the same color or beautiful but it was comfy and worked for us. We still had toys and didn’t have to reuse dirty water or anything like that.

Yes and time and effort to like a new handle for the frying pan is not too hard too make if you want to or you can buy a new one spend a 70 bucks more and get a decent working pan where the handle does not fall off.
