I think there is a line between forcing positivity and choosing to find happiness in the moment. The latter seems to get blown way out of proportion and ends up becoming the former.
@Renus4 жыл бұрын
Doomgel I think forcing happiness can be a fake till you make it type thing. Which of all e,options happiness has also been proved to be the more beneficial one; having watched this video today pewds seems rather bitter with some points.
@lauracargaleiro9833 жыл бұрын
Some moments really hold no happiness, and faking having found it in them will destroy you eventually. You have the right to be sad, just like when you fall, you won't get an orgasm, when you are emotionally, even if not hurt, dissatisfied, you are most likely not going to experience happiness or joy.

I've suffered with depression my whole life I have found that art has helped me quite a bit with that. Of all the time I've lived so far I have one piece of advice that may be of assistance it is to find a healthy outlet for stress. Note: Art doesn't get rid of my depression it just helps me cope with it. Dealing with your stress is a very healthy thing to do and if you let it build up.. It can lead to depression. Just a bit of insight. I hope this helps somebody out there.

Vict that isn't true. a psychologist way back in the early 1900s came up with a theory that acting happy would make you happier, but he never tested his hypothesis. psychologists in the past few decades have tried to test his hypothesis and it has failed in every single study. faking happiness will not make you happier.

What I like about you is basically as I get older you stay relevant, and that is difficult for entertainers. When I was younger I loved watching your gameplay videos and now that I am older I enjoy your comedy videos and your satire commentary. It's like your channel grew up with its viewers.

This is the first PewDiePie video I ever watched. Came here after watching ShayCarl’s video talking about this one. Found my fav KZbinr that day. Have watched so many of his vids since and now don’t miss a day. I’m a 37 yr old 9 yr old. Thanks for all the laughs, logic bombs, and bro fists.

I just had to reply. Another 38 y/o girl here. While watching this video, the first thing I thought of was shay. I used to watch the shaytards religiously for years. Shay was such an inspiration with how positive he was and how he had this loving family. Then it turned out he was an alcoholic the whole time who drank to help him relax so he could make these fun and happy videos. It was all such a lie. Most youtubers are fake af.

Completely 100% agree! a few years ago in my teens, I used to be quite depressed, and would feel so angry towards people who always smiled and made everything seem just fantastic, which I was not okay with. And it made me even more depressed since I would ask why I wasn't happy.

***** We all go through misery and dark, melancholic periods of our lives, but then suddenly we take a step in the right direction and we become happy. If you were happy all the time, then you wouldn't realize how beautiful happiness really is, because without misery there is no happiness.

***** The concept i proposed was based on what Pewdiepie said in his video. The video is about forced happiness. I know that it is impossible, because that is just what i said before. Please read my statement again and evaluate and think for yourself.

Finally, some honesty for once! This is a really good job you have done. It really is dangerous to force everything or everyone to be positive all the time, as it does not help us work through our pain, and grow from doing so. Unpleasant things - whether they are emotional, mental or otherwise - will continue to exist and do harm to both ourselves and everyone around us for as long as they are ignored. Shoving our collective heads in the sand will not prevent the lion of misery from eating us alive.

Watching back to this.. Just two years and realising how everything has changed in just two years. And how a messed up place youtube was in 2016-2017 how much drama it was and still is. Forcing happiness and posetivity. Just to intertain some people And feeling horrible after trying to be happy. Real happines is not about feeling cheerful and positive, but about living a meaningful life, having a purpose and being aware its bigger than ephemeral emotions. Jordan Peterson says: Do what is meaningful not expedient. And Caroline Ingalls says: Happines and sadness are like mountains and valleys, without one there is no other. Hope it helps you as much as it helped me!❤
