I think that is a very realistic expectation for this team. I believe they have a ceiling of 12 wins and an 8 win floor . I think Liam is an upgrade over Canales. His play calling and scheme, along with the Barton pick should improve this run game. If we can just get a middle of the pack run game(15th to 22nd), it will improve the effectiveness of the play action game. Not only will that take pressure off Baker, but it should allow for more chunk plays( which means more scoring and hopefully less third downs). One area we did well in with running the ball last year was late in games when we needed to close it out. Hopefully, that continues this year. Also the defense should be better this year without Diva White and the addition of Whitehead. As well as adding Braswell, Tykee, and year 2 from Yaya and Cancey. Im super pumped for the season! LFG

Another excellent Pewter Pulse. I actually have Bucs winning 3/6 games against last year's playoff teams and agree with 8/11 wins against non playoff teams. Canales leaving for Carolina will end up being a blessing in disguise as I believe Liam Coen will be a force and a rising name in HC considerations come 2025

SR drops the good stuff in a brisk 7 mins. Less 1st and 10 runs right up the middle for no gain, A quarterback that turns the ball over way less than Jameis, but takes more risks than a shell shocked goat, and dare I say Todd Bowles finally becoming who we need him to be. Plenty of upside.

Great breakdown. We are trending up, based mostly off of home grown talent. The falcons are taking a gamble for the leap, the saints and falcons have fumbled their cap and talent development. We could do better than split wins with the Aint's and Falcons.

I think the defense is much improved over last year. Devin and Carlton leaving is a positive. The D-Line and the Edge has to get to the QB without a ton of blitzes. You cannot leave the CB's on an island. O-Line has to keep Baker clean. Especially up the middle. They have a adequate amount of weapons. Coen is a upgrade over Canales. All I said every team says. For the Bucs the crazy amount of blitzing keeps this team around .500. Without elite edge rushers they have no other choice.

Lol I agree on Devin white being a positive but not too sure about Carlton . Yes Carlton inability to be healthy has been a ongoing issue for years now but when healthy he's a top 12 corner in this league especially when it comes to pressing receivers hopefully zyon can take that next step but definitely concern about the corner room.

@@thejohnhend It's ridiculous lol now I won't lie Carlton getting traded kinda concerns me because that's means we're expecting zyon to take that next step now I do understand that Carlton inability to stay healthy and at times being inconsistent was probably reason for trade but when at his best Carlton was a really good corner for his team especially when it came to pressing receivers.

If the OL gels, the running game improves. Then, it’s about Coen’s schemes and in-game adjustments. On defense, our cornerbacks n pass rush will determine how we play the pass. Our run defense is solid. Go Bucs!!!

I predict that the Bucs will be undefeated for the 1st couple months of the season until WW3 starts and ends all sporting events and normal society as we know it. 1% chance that this season plays out all the way, but if it does, I think the Bucs are Superbowl bound.

If Mayfield and the other key players stay healthy, they should be humming by the second half of the season. It will most likely take several games to gel in the new system, hopefully just in time for the Chiefs and 49rs games and the easier remaining schedule. We just need to make the playoffs where anything can happen and where Mayfield typically excels.

IF OUR OFFENSIVE LINE CAN IMPROVE FROM 32 IN RUN TO MIDDLE OF THE PACK 17/18. THE NFL IS IN TROUBLE IMO. BAKER PUT UP CAREER BEST. WHITE OVER 1500 APY AND THIS WAS DONE WITH THEE WORST RUSHING ATTACK IN THE LEAGUE. THE FUTURE IS BRIGHT #GOBUCS
