Jonas Vingegaard Talks Tour, Giro & World's 2025

PEZ-man Alastair was recently at the Visma | Lease A Bike Training Camp in Alicante, Spain where he sat in on an interview with team leader Jonas Vingegaard, to hear what the 2nd best rider in the world had to say looking ahead to the 2025 Giro d'Italia, Tour de France, and World Championships.
The sound quality is not the best - but the cool thing that we wanted to show you is what it's like to sit in on an actual press conference at one of these team camps.

Too bad he crashed and wasn’t 100% at the Tour de France last year… or else it would’ve been three in a row !! He was in the hospital for 12 days and wasn’t released until April 17. When did he finally get to start training again? I guess it’s polite to make excuses, but he had excuses.

Dai non parlare così 😉...sono d'accordissimo con te però e l' unico che pou contrastare a Pogi è dare al TDF quel pizzico di sale che fa del tour un giro super interessante.....Io sono un super fan di Tadej poiché sono per metà Sloveno è per meta Italiano però menomale che ci sia Jonas se no Tadej( già vince tutto) sarebbe il numero uno indiscusso, sei d'accordo con me?...ti mando un gran saluto dal soleggiato Portorose ❤❤❤

you seem to know nothing: Volta ao Algarve, Paris-Nice, Volta Ciclista a Catalunya, Critérium du Dauphiné,Tour de France,Vuelta a España if you can´t understand his decision to skip the giro after what happened last year you might have never trained that hard for something (which i´m sure you haven´t). it´s called setting priorities. i will never get the "boring rider" arguments. people are obviously not able to deal with rather introverted characters. grow up! i´m for myself looking forwad for a hopefully head to head race between pogi and jonas. no matter what the race before or after.

Jonas is from a different culture as well. I know we Americans are accustomed to assertive confident, trash, talking professional athletes. That’s not typical in Dunmark.
