Great info. Once I had a Pfaff Hobbymatic 919 and it would not stitch properly unless German Poly thread was used.

Interesting. Some machines are partial to certain threads. Many long arm quilters will attest to that. Once they find the particular thread that their machine likes, they’ve found that it’s important to stick with it. 😎👍🏼

Check the cord and the plug, where it goes into the wall outlet. Sometimes there’s a short in that area. If the light doesn’t come on, it could need a new bulb. Electrical issues are challenging to chase down. 😎👍🏼

How to pronounce the name? I think it depends on whether you are using the American pronunciation, or the European pronunciation. Just like Audi cars. For years it was pronounced AWDEE, now they are snobifying it to OWDEE. Give me a break!

Here’s what’s really funny, I just delivered the Pfaff and she said it was in fact stored in the barn for four years. Turned out ok. She’s happy. 😎👍🏼
