@@yaakoubfarah413 To be honest Im totally in love with my Singer 431g from 1964. I have never had a machine sew so nice and fast. Id go to a sewing machine repair place and ask for a good mechanical machine, preferably one made before the 80s. The Pfaff have the built in top feed dogs, which is amazing! why doesn't all machines have that! So I tend to use that for stretch fabric... but the singer from the 60´s cost an 8th of the price of the Pfaff...It sort of depends on what you want to sew.

I tried to figure out how it opens so I can clean and oil it but it was like a puzzle box... until I just watched your video! You explained it so well, it was a snap. I have a Pfaff 1171 and the wheel was sticking and I had to hand turn it each time I stopped sewing to restart the sewing process. I figured it just needed a good cleaning. My local store closed during Covid. I am so grateful for your video. Cleaning it helped immensely. However, I have a question. You said not to remove the screw that’s up by the area where the bobbin winding 18:00 mechanism is. I had already removed it and now I can’t seem to get it reattached. Any suggestions? I am I really appreciate your video. It worked perfectly!

Tengo el modelo 1171 pero la barra de aguja está posicionada al lado derecho, el paso para centrarla no funciona (solo cose recto cargado a la derecha) sabes que podría ser? De antemano gracias
