My favourite Pg tips adverts were the ones with the anamorphic chimpanzees who drank PG tips and acted and dressed like humans. These adverts ran for 46 years from 1956 until 2002 and I though they were so funny. Unfortunately PG tips dropped the chimp adverts for a number of reasons because of complaints from animal right organisations and because when the chimps reached a certain age they apparently posed a danger to humans.

These adverts sucked! Ironically these were made by Aardman, Aardman normally make good things but these adverts sucked what I do not understand is why they did not just have plasticine or cartoon chimpanzees or better still why not just use Wallace and Gromit? They would have been awesome.
