My entire bag is setup with clubs with the most distance control other than My Driver, 3W and 3I for distance purposes. I rarely ever use a full 100 percent shot anymore and didn't realize it alleviated alot of the tempo issues us xbox players have by using mostly partial shots as the misses are usually only barely grey fast and grey slow but I'm hitting 85 percent perfects with these clubs, at least for me. I've never played for the red fasts but have recently started only playing a fast for my drives. Thanks for the video. I’ve gone back and forth on clubs and what works for my play type. This video gave me some more info to consider going forward. I’ve always been a Taylormade fan, so I use most of their clubs. Also I struggle with the shot plane at times with my approach shots, wondering now if there is a better setup that could help me. Thanks again and keep it up

Good vid, thanks....... Looking at the different clubs, you have the meters, whats the significance of red or green being at the end of some of the bars for the equipment?

That is the difference from the set you have equip. Red is a decrease from your current club and green is increase

Are you sure you have distance control right ? I thought it was how forgiving the plane and tempo would be be on partial shots ?

You're definitely correct. It has a major factor on partial shots and creating a bigger transition window. Combined with shot shaping, I also found it to impact the total yardages with roll. Those are just my findings, but I'm sure there's others who possibly found results that counter.

Yeah in the video I highly recommend the Bridgestone. If you can manage the shorter distance with them they're maxed of forgiveness and keep the ball super straight. Also super straight for chips to hole out. If you need more distance I recommend the ben hogan's

Woods are a little tougher. 3 wood i also use the ben hogan or the Wilson d7. Its a tough club to hit so its are to get perfects with them consistently. If fast/ slow is your problem you want to find clubs with as much forgiveness as possible. It will keep your ball on line the best

Im so lost with the game, Started on the easiest and worked my way up, Been playing since couple wks of release, Got to pro am. thn went to pro.... Got into a couple streaming communities that play on masters... It blew up got bigger than I ever expected so It got me into masters. I shot +20s... to +10s.... to +5s to E, My lowest score is -4 thn the round after I shoot +6, I cannot get off the tee 😞 it just feels like every time I get comfortable something drastic changes for me. And it’s frustrating. All the recalibrating, the swing changes.... the tempo changes 😰

The hardest part of the game is the calibration from one mode to another. You can calibrate perfectly in the practice range, but that calibration will be different in a local game, and then that will be different in a society, and so on. It makes it hard to stick with a consistent calibration because the latency throughout the modes changes. I would find a calibration that seems to work best for you and stick with it. Use a longer driver and aim down the right side of the fairway looking at a fast miss if anything. If you're gonna miss the fairway at least you're as close to the hole as possible. Let me know how it goes

I'm trying to mimic your bag setup and I have equipped exactly the same driver but the distance on mine says only 265 yards but on yours it says 291, and I have the same 3 wood too, but my distance says only 216 yards but yours is 241. Why is this? Is it because I am still a noob and playing on an easier setting? Do my distances increase as I level up?

This is actually an outdated what's in my bag. I did one two weeks ago with my bag and other options that are great. kzbin.info/www/bejne/eWfQaWN7oapoqLM You do not level up. I would say make sure you have the same color( above the club) of that club. Some of them will both be for example called sim, but one is purple and one is silver. They would go different distance. Also, the loft could be the difference in distance. Let me know if this helps or you still have questions

@@MidKnightYT Ah yes I have just noticed what you mean now about the different colours -- some clubs are called exactly the same name but their stats are different based on the colour, got it. Thanks for the advice! Would you say that this bag in this video is now out of date and it would be better to mimic your newer bag? Remember I am still quite a beginner.

@@CountryRoadist just depends on your weakness. I always recommend prioritizing 1. forgiveness 2. Distance. 3. Distance control. So yes. If you're someone who struggles with a straight meter then go with bigger meters

How can I change out my clubs? I just started the game and won the Fed Cup Champion on Beginner status, moving into Amateur now, I also noticed I have nothing saved from the stats of beginner status. Can you advise on this?

If in the home screen go to my player and than go to golf bag. You can always hit the options/start button to then click edit golfer and go to golf bag. Let me know if this helped

Does anyone know what the colour bands mean at the top of the pictures of the individual clubs?

It's supposed to be class like a call of duty. Purple would be your legendary, gold, silver, bronze in that order; however, I find them to be pointless because most of my bag is not legendary. The purple ones are to be aimed at the better players, but it doesn't work as well as planned. The gold can also be identified as unlockables from the mycareer

@@BenjWarrant they have it there to give variety with different club attributes. Also marketing ploy so they can get all their different model clubs in the game.

Nope, you can carry 14 clubs, only one of each type.
