Excellent video, you’re a very good teacher. I’ve taken these suggestions to my latest course and can already see big improvements in how more natural the greens are sitting as part of the environment. Keeping the water runoff in mind is a revelation. No more puddles greens lol. Look forward to part 3 in this series, perhaps on best ways to tier without too much flattening and fav brushes that you use?

Appreciate the video. Execution is everything and has to be there for the feel of play & look. Thanks again.

Thank you for getting the helpful word out. If I may add one more bit to your criteria, it would be related to the idea of imagining how water would flow, which is: “would you as the groundskeeper for this course try and maintain this with a mower?” A pet peeve is seeing the course’s “cut-able sites” (fairways/light rough/greens) with insane slopes - ie the ones you just know would be a guaranteed lawsuit if you asked your groundskeeper to go cut it with even a walking mower much less a riding one. The funny thing is it’s the game’s official courses that are as guilty of this as anyone!

Yes! Exactly! I mentioned that in one of my videos...a bit of advice from the first design video I watched years ago from a guy named "tastegw"..."Can ya get a mower on it?" LOL
