10 years from now, the PGA Tour, will be exactly what the DP World (Euro) tour is now. Just like Asian, Australian, Sunshine, Lat Am ... etc. Regional tours. Perfect for people like Malnatti, grinders. The LIV tour and whatever it turns into will be the Elite tour. No one playing on LIV now have ever shown any interest in coming back to the PGA Tour. Sure there might be events specific players on LIV want to still play just because of the history or how they feel about a course. I think Rory understands this now and his change of attitude shows it. The Malnatti's of the Tour have their heads in the sand.

Wonder what is it like, if 150 PGA players moved to LIV today, play all the LIV events with no cut and get pay for playing every tournaments. And the rules for no cut still apply, if so, not a bad plan, play less (54 holes) and get paid. Stupid not to join. Hong Kong reported the recent LIV event generated $40m in local revenue. Plus, viewership everywhere outside the USA is rising. People who view LIV through the lens of CW ratings alone aren't seeing the big picture. Plus, they forget that the Saudis refuse to lose and could run LIV at a 100% loss for 100 years and never notice the cash was gone.

Ratings are very important. Look at the NFL and college football. That is where they make their money. Saudis will run LIV into the ground for100 years. Than why did YASIR Al Ramayana basically request an emergency meeting in the Bahamas yesterday? Think about that. Cause he wants a deal now. Not in 100 years. LIV as it is today is dead. No business runs with zero revenue for very long. In any country!

The OWGR is just a hammer to punish LIV players. It does not come close to ranking the top players. It is nothing less than collusion. The ranking system should be unbiased and should adjust to the golf landscape rather than all golf tours to adjust to arbitrary PGA Tour biased rules.

These PGA players who say, "LIV players will have to earn their way back" is so laughable. The reality of it is, PGA players will need to win major events to get invited to LIV. It tells me how much Jay has them drinking the cool aid. I have a hard time believing the PGA and LIV will ever work something out with Jay running the PGA. It is all about Jay, and what he gets. At least that is how it appears. I don't think Jay cares about the players, it is all about Jay's earnings.

Thank you for saying it out in the open. The PGAT thinks that LIV is already a failure. They think it's going away. The PGAT announcers openly said so recently. You can find clips of it on youtube. So now we know why SSG came into the picture. They think they can just ride it out until LIV disappears and then SSG will reap the benefits. This is why they're arguing about what path LIV players will need to take to make their way back to PGAT. This is actually what they think they're negotiating. It's completely bonkers. PGAT won't exist in a few years and they're talking like they're top dog. What I think is going on is that the top brass are keeping things hidden from the PGAT players. LIV players don't want to go back to PGAT. They would be open to playing a few events on the PGAT. But they don't want to go back. THAT is what PIF is negotiating. But the players think it's a full return and that LIV will be dissolved. I think the players of PGAT have been lied to. Or at least a lie of omission. Last year, LIV said they were WAY ahead of schedule of their business plan. Some people have said they have to say that. But they really don't. They could have just stayed quiet. They've also announced that various countries are footing the bill for the prize money. So it costs them ZERO to host many events now. That means that many events are all profits. They can use this and just re-invest in the US to cover those costs while the PGAT still has sanctions against courses that host LIV events and grow their field.

Malnati only says what Tiger tells him to. The only guys in the know on that so called Players Board are Tiger and Maybe Speith. Remember Billy Horschel and his original thoughts on LIV, you know when he was likely inside the Top 50 2 and a half years ago? He sees the Top guys getting the Lions share (top 36) of the SSG billion and the rest getting scraps with the DP Tour getting even less.

Depending on who you listen to the Players equity share is somewhere between 6 to 10 percent of the total value of the tour... Yet the player are 100% of the actual PGA Tour ... And the player are happy with the equity share .... DUH .....

Conclusion: The OWGR should have given the exact amount of World Ranking Points to LIV that they give to the Hero World Challange. It is, and no. But the new PGAT Enterprises, is a for profit and will. Reality is, even as a non profit, there is a group of the old boys club who control it, and now with a for profit entity, they will still control it, and are unlikely to cede control to the PIF.

It will only take one tv company to do the sums and realize that instead of just USA eyes on the golf they can have world eyes on LIV golf through their streaming service. App streaming is the way forward. Monaghan has acted in real bad faith towards PIF fund manager. The truce was so PGA wouldnt run out of funds with lawyers and work towards an agreement. IMO it was a front so Monaghan could source out USA moneymen that own other sports teams hence FSG came forward. NOw PGA really dont want/need PIF because done a deal with FSG. If pga tour creates a for profit entity, this entity can theoretically charge a fee for their players to play on this world tour (maybe LIV, if Greg leaves and then adjust the format, not saying they will but this is a thought along the lines of mcilroy thinking), what Rory is saying is he's for a 100 player your of the best players, going off Clark's thought having 20 players loose their cards through relegation, I can see it coming together or the Tour owning a stake in the entity along with liv and dp world tour.

The PGA tour will never make a deal with PIF. The top US golfers don’t want to travel outside of America to play golf apart from British Open. Golf is not like Tennis it’s not a global sport at the very top . 3 of the 4 majors are played in one country. Tiger is running the show he’ll never make a deal with Yassir. The only way I can see PIF strengthening their hand is if they sign Scheffler and Rory but they won’t do that. I think the top players on LIV will run out their 3 year contracts and then try and rejoin the PGA tour. I’m not anti LIV I’m like the majority of golf fanatics I’m more interested in improving my own golf game and getting my handicap down I watch the majors and the Ryder cup and that’s about it.

To be honest you are out of touch. You must not watch LIV, must not have been to a LIV event and it’s way better IMO. It’s a start up and to be honest almost all my friends from 40 and under enjoy LIV more. Take a step back, grow up, look into both equally, experience both equally then do your job and report. Looking at it from the "grinders" POV, they now have LESS competition and MORE money! So, Malnati would prefer 40th place to 20th with one third of the prize money? PGAT, say hello to the WGT (World Golf Tour), in which the best play in the best format (LIV-type). Malnati, will have less travel expenses so he may not suffer too much...
