These are the best type of videos. You can hear what they think and the general concept behind the video is fantastic. It’s also tough when people say that this isn’t a normal public course, because while they may be correct, a good video needs decent greens for birdies. If you ever do a course without great conditions maybe do it at 6000 yards or so, or maybe just make sure the fairways aren’t great but the greens are still in good shape.

Excellent viewing and enjoyed hearing Brandon's thought processes during the round. My son is a member of a beautiful private championship course here in Sydney, I'm at a local public course. Playing off 3, he struggles to putt on my course because it has much slower greens and a ton of un-repaired pitch marks, along with scuff marks etc. We joke that our course is harder, but it's not true at all. However, he almost always scores better on the private championship course.

Tough course even from 6462 yards. 72.7 rating and 139 slope. Very difficult track. My husband played professionally for a bunch of years and said the rule of thumb for having the skills needed to make a living was to be about 6 under the course rating on average (not one in three times but average). He is new to the course so 67 would be a very good score. The course is short and Brandon is great with the wedges so 65 could happen. It is always tough first time on a course as we all know putting can make or break a round. I love videos like these, they show the local dreamer who is a plus 2 who fires a 68 on his home track that he is not going to make a living playing golf, though many think they can. What will hurt Brandon is the condition of the greens will not be what he is used to. I am guessing it will cost him a stroke or two. Another difference is the fairways on even a high end public course do not have the speed to a tour course. 15 to 20 yards less of the tee can be very common.

Most courses golfers are liable for any damages that they cause. However, golfers can turn around and blame negligence on the golf course, even if a sign is present. As long as there is valid support that the set up of the course led to the damages caused. This is obviously dependent on the course, but an overwhelming majority. Makes me so worried when I play down narrow corridors in Florida when they are lined with 1 - 100 million dollar homes. Although most of those homes are designed for hurricane and can withstand a golf ball with no problem, take my word, for it. Don't ask how I know.

I think the average golfer thinks they’ll birdie half the holes , but the greens also aren’t perfect like on tour , and they’ve never played these courses usually , even if they played one event at a course on tour , they would’ve played a few practice rounds and then 2-4 rounds after that too … but they could miss short putts because the greens aren’t as nice
