Hey man just wanted to say thanks for all the help. I still havent broke 90 but ive come dangerously tha ks to your tips. Yesterday i shot a 41 on the front 9 of my home course which is a personal best. However i have a mental issue with the last back 9 and shot a 57 cause i got in my own head and started trying stupid shots that i shouldnt have. Started playing in April. I probably spend at least a hour, sometimes two watching your videos daily. I broke 90 last week. Toe down was helpful but off and on. Maybe heal down will get me there. Shot 92 today, had 8 pars. Once I am pitching from inside 50 I am gonna be MONEY! Best instructive and engaging videos if you are trying to improve your score.

Heel up, not down!! It's everything toe down could do, and more. Either are more for a putting stroke around the green. Check out 3 Releases by Dan Grieve (book or YT) for 30-80 yard techniques. You are advancing fast...

Dropped the driver from my bag and used 2 or 4 iron off the tee to hit 225 - 250 after just hitting the range and playing for the first time in a month. No out of bounds, thanks for the tip of stop chasing distance awhile back. Me and a buddy that hasn't played in months scrambed to shoot a 72 with 2 birdies and 2 bogeys with tap in pars on most of the holes. Got lucky on a chip in and some 10ish foot par saves but the most solid round ive played ever.

First ever tournament I volunteered for, I was put on the tee box. The hole captain told us very sternly that we could not talk to the golfers, to basically stay out of their way because this was serious business. After a few players came thru, here comes Ray Floyd and Fred Couples. I was so nervous. Ray says "how the hell you doing?" then puts me in a gentle headlock and says "loosen up will ya!" They both grab driver and smash the ball down the fairway, then walk off chatting to each other like they didn't have a care in the world. I suspect Raymondo Floyd would get a kick out of your review of the points in his book.

one bug bear of mine is playing partners talking, or standing too close, or behind me usually on fairways when i'm swinging. I'm always reluctant to ask them to not do it as it can cause tension; was thinking to just play a low risk shot like a 3 quarter 7 iron punch shot instead of a full shot/swing in these cases

Hey playa I have a question for you about heel up chipping. Do you put the majority of your weight on your left side? I found I was leaving chips super short when I tried toe down, and then I started putting more weight on my left side like a normal chip but still doing a putter stroke and toe down. After that, I was hitting chips to 3 feet left and right! It made a world of a difference. I feel like I’m putting 70% of my weight on my left side maybe more. Do you do the same or is it more even?
