MSFS - Takeoff Emergencies and the Impossible Turn

Just listened to a podcast about doing a 3 second count before reacting if you’re doing this during training to account for the lack of readiness when encountering this IRL. But great, effective episode for us sim pilots.

Tried the impossible turn with JustFlights Piper Arrow the other day... Drops like a brick, just not possible

From say 800 agl, yes you can. Unless overloaded..

That's realistically what happens with Arrows...

As long as you climb over say 800 fpm with some wind, I have brought back to 4k runway many 180 hp cherokees. From 400 agl. Idle power. With strong wind i had to pop full flaps and full forward slip. That is the extreme. Use 700 agl if climbed say at 700 fpm minimum at the Vy. It works. 45 degree bank, 3 second delay is all you need.
