1:50 thats cyprus, u can see it from lebanon. Just not that well. But Gaijin maps are compressed from their real life counterpart, tyre on that map is also quite small compared to the actual place.

I think the Mach 1.0 limit comes from the fact that the PGM-500 and 500/3 are/were rocket assisted bombs in game and as such were subjected to the arbitrary Mach 1.0 release limit Gaijin enforced on all bombs, regardless or guidance type and/or aerodynamic properties

the mach limiter is due to the inertial navigation system in the 3 seeker heads that are utilized in the pgm it was due to low cost of integration and training on aircraft and pilots and also due to the control surfaces of the weapon limiting it to just over high subsonic speeds. source(MBDA SYSTEMS)

That's why I was hoping for Brimstones, only for them to be nerfed until they were dead on arrival. It's not like Gaijin cares about balance or potential counters before they add Russian weapons to the game.

They have a lot of bugs with the pods. Like the F111f gets the pod but it doesn't deploy when you have things tracked. British aircraft seem to have the highest amount of bugs with new features though.

Israel's CAS has been shafted ever since Barak II was added, now that the F-15E got its long awaited PW229, it's about time Israel receives some indigenous air-to-ground munitions. War Thunder maps "repeat" past the edge. It's just visual, but it's a duplication of the map you're currently on. It's like this for every map, not just the Israel test flight on the dev server. I think the easiest map to see this phenomenon on is the Suez Canal map

the grom 1 most likely got removed because of it could be used to exploit in sim as you could most likely fire off all the missiles at the other teams airfield before you even cross half the map. the lock range of the grom 1 was 120km range where as this has a max range of 50km but it cant really lock at that range so more around 30-40km range

Grom 1 is gps guided so it has no tracking , this locks onto targets at 40km away which is double of 38MT

My question is why we never see Maps with Ships unless your playing Navel Battles lets be 100% clear on that it's amazing that we are getting weapons that are fairly useless due to that fact!!!! Lets be real if you tried to use these in ground Battles they be shot down by AAA so what's the point in using them they will use the Engines Smoke Trail to capitalize on visibility of that smoke trail an that be the end of that missile.
