Humble questions to arya ji. Solstice is not a celestial event which can be marked by planetary positions. It takes years nd years of careful observation to determine at which day solstice would fall. 1) what was the basis of assumption to relate kasyapa with winter solstice ? 2) how do you know the method with which people of 500bc used to mark winter solstice ? For example we in south India use makara Sankranti as the event to identify winter solstice. This was set by Varahamihira who observed tht mahabharata period of linking ratha saptami with winter solstice was no longer true due to the precision of equinox. Most probably, people of 500bc nd before would still continue to use ratha saptami as winter solstice there by vishaka poornima would still be within the 90 day limit ?

Fascinating work, Pandit ji and thanks a lot Shri ji for this session. Western Indologists, colonisers, Marxist historians and evangelists have done great injustice to Indian history, and have grossly & intentionally misinterpreted and distorted the fact to suit their expansionist and destructive agenda. We cannot keep on blaming them and that would be a futile exercise. We should rather take control over our history and start correcting it, so that the future generations have accurate sources to study and understand our own culture and nation better.

This is not just solo, M Pandit proposal. Chronology rectification including Budha in 19th century has also been proven by Vedveer Arya in his 2 volume book. Time for NCERT to take note.

Chronology based solely on astrological/astronomical interpretations , which even contemporary scholors show no concurrence on, has obvious limitations. Incidentally, why does this channel.resent critical comments?
