Hello sir.Thank you once again for your replies.Sir my kid has completed her ARV schedule.Its been 16 days.Sir there is congestion in her chest.So her breathing is bit fast.Nebulisation done.She has been prescribed with omnacortil tab for three days once at night and Montelukast 5 days.Sir is it okay to give omnacortil since it is a steroid and has recently finished her vaccine schedule.One more thing sir she has reccurent issue of this allergy issue and breathing problem due to chest congestion.She is 5 yrs old.Will she outgrow it as she gets older?

This topic requires one on one discussion as lots of loopholes are there with this protocol which was given in 2018 by WHO Position Paper. Today in 2024 still we are blindly following the same whereas NRCP published in WB clearly mentions IRRESPECTIVE of TIME PERIOD. Above all CDC says - re exposure prophylaxis is required in all of them who test positive 0.5IU/ml neutralising antibodies. Now, the question arises - since the neutralising antibodies peak at 14th day of completion of ARV... 1.if you have completed ARV yesterday, and again fresh bite occurs today then what? your neutralising antibodies have not yet reached a peak (it peaks after 14 days). should you go for re vaccination?????? 2.in case of fresh bite on 30th day or 98th day, the neutralising antibodies will remain more than 0.5IU/ml then why on 98th day vaccination is required and not on 30th day (according to WHO). even after 3 years the antibodies will remain more than 0.5 IU/ml then why 90 days cut off is there. It makes no sense at all. That's why CDC considers RE EXPOSURE PROPHYLAXIS in all of them who measures more than 0.5IU/ml and FULL COURSE in them who measures less than 0.5IU/ml. There is no time gap formula at all. in addition WHO doesn't state 3 months from "WHEN" I hope it helps🙏🏻 and please 🙏🏻 don't remain tensed. act according to the situation, it will help you....

Sir one doubt one neighbour dog good and healthy after few days one stray dog bites that healthy dog after bitting stray dog died of rabies but that healthy dog is still alive may be it will take some months to appear rabies symptoms for that dog in between if that dog bites human then is it possible to get rabies to that person as he doesn't take any vaccine i mean the incubation period of that dog before showing symptoms of rabies did it bite someone then that person have to take vaccine r not even after 20days still that dog is alive pls reply n explain sir
